With the fast-growing number of users connected, digital technologies are producing numerous data streams that continues to increase globally. As a result, large amounts of data are on the need to be stored and processed using cloud services. Along with the use of cloud solutions comes the severity of potential damage and services tend to raise the issue of data protection and privacy. In recent years, agent-based technology becomes a powerful tool for distributed control and security. In that context, an architecture based on multi-agent systems was proposed on a previous work which aims to secure both storage and exploration of data hosted in the Cloud. In this paper, MASs and security are discussed. A state-of-the-art literature survey is conducted and agent integration is highlighted. In addition, a secure multi-agent system scheme is proposed. Simulation results for a case study are presented.
